Someone said try ctrl-alt-+ to adjust the resolution once it's up and running, but that doesn't work (and I have a vague
memory of it not working in the past).

I could go thru and try every one of them, but I have to reboot every time. The damn thing shutdown-halts when you do
ctrl-alt-backspace instead of just shutting down xwin. Also it didn't appear to read from XF86Config the one time I
got it to shut down xwin without shutting down the machine so I could restart x by hand.

Blerg.

I think perhaps Knoppix isn't for me. I thought it might be a fun little toy for a triple-boot, but now I think no.

PS how horrible of that guy not to include any console email-client except mutt, so you have to set up
fetchmail/sendmail first. That's just mean.
