So glad to hear that you have your wireless working, of all the things I've ever done in Linux configuring wireless is the one that has been the most frustrating, so you can pretty much do anything now and it'll be a breeze!
Just one side note, the WEP method of securing wireless communications has inherent and well known flaws that make it possible to crack WEP encryption. If that is something you are concerned with you might consider moving to WPA, or just being careful about what you use that connection for.
In order for someone to crack WEP they have to target it and collect a certain volume worth of data for this to happen.
I'm not saying that if you are using WEP that it 100% sure that your entire network is compromised and you need to change all your credit cards or anything. Just letting you know that it is a fairly well known venerability that doesn't require a very sophisticated user to exploit.
