Hey everybody,
Last night at the meeting we decided to go along with my proposed
schedule, which is:
----------------------------------------------------------
First Friday: meeting as we've been doing at Memorial Union
Third Tuesday: Presentation at UW High Energy Physics (this month I'll
be doing a presentation on open society and open access, and what that
means to the FOSS world)
Last Tuesday: Geek Dinner with Web608.
I'll send out list reminders for each event and make sure the
http://web608.org local events calendar is up-to-date as well as the
http://madisonlinux.org site.
---------------------------------------------------------
If the Geek Dinners turn out to be a wash, we'll figure something else
out, but since Abraham of Web608 is a cross-platform guy, I'm hoping
this is going to work out.
Since some decisions have been made, I'll need some one the carry the
penguin (literally, if you haven't seen the guy) on the following
dates:
April 3rd (I'll be in Kentucky)
June 5th (I'll be in The Triangle)
Somehow, it's going to work out that I don't miss anything while I'm
in Sweden. Sweet. If you are willing to take the penguin, let me
know.
So, to be clear, no Friday meeting in two weeks. Please spread the
word to anyone that doesn't check the list often.
Thanks and enjoy the weekend!
